What do I wear?
Keep it simple and coordinated! For these sessions, I'm loving denim, light neutrals like beige, white, and cream for this setup — colors that feel timeless and photograph beautifully. Avoid busy logos or graphics, and think about shoes since they can distract if they don't coordinate well. Bare feet are always darling too!
How does styling work?
If you’ve chosen to add on styling, Emily will take great care of you, so all you have to do is show up with a clean face, and clean/day old hair! She’ll get with you to give you any more specific directions.
Please note, styling may not be available for the time you select - I’ll get with you to confirm.
Where are these sessions taking place?
Sessions will occur in the Kelley Photo Studio in Tonganoxie, KS. The address will be emailed to you in your confirmation message. When you arrive, please come in the French doors that face the road.
What’s the turnaround time on images?
Photos will be edited and sent to you within 3 weeks, with at least a sneak peek or two before Mother’s Day. If you need them sooner, please communicate that to Kelley and a rush may be possible.
Who can be in the sessions?
These are for mamas and their people — babies, big kids, grown kids, grandmas, fur babies, all of it. Three generations in one frame? Yes please. If Dad wants to jump in a shot too, we can absolutely make that work. It's a loose theme. 😉
